well, there is some theory about it…
>in “Family Appreciation Day”. Their Granny Smith is a young pony, Ponyville is not founded yet and Celestia looks just like she does now. Yet if an ordinary pony livesspan is just a tenth of Celestias then Granny Smith must at least be 200 and possibly more then twice that.
So, I guess ponies have a longer growth cycle than ours:O
